Smart Drivers is a FREE app encouraging people to drive well and safe.
Smart Drivers is an app from VIAS institute (former Belgian Road Safety Institute), which is powered by Baloise and has the following functionalities:
- tracks how you drive i.e. analyses your speed, acceleration and braking, and whether you are using your phone while driving;
- provides personalised feedback to help you become a better driver;
- does it in an engaging and fun way i.e. you can participate in engaging campaigns and challenges offered by Program’s partners (Baloise, Q8, Recytyre, Volvo,…), you can win badges and rewards, and compete with friends.
The Smart Drivers app is a component of the Smart Drivers Program, a comprehensive safe young driver program (www.smartdriverrs.be) designed by the VIAS.
Smart Drivers accompanies you through the different stages of getting your drivers’ license in Belgium and ensures you are becoming an experienced, responsible and safe driver.
